I know this struggle well — I did everything 'right' by societal standards — staying booked and busy but still prioritizing time for family, being just sexy enough but never crossing the line, and adhering to what felt like a never ending list of contradictory expectations that was so powerfully expressed in the Barbie movie monologue... I lost myself in the process.

One day, after a profound spiritual realization, everything changed. 'You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden.' It finally clicked - I possess a unique light, something only I could shine. I realized that I couldn't be my genuine or best self while constantly contorting my values, my opinions, my words, and my actions to fit into the boxes that others built for me. From that day on, I committed to shining my light unapologetically and using my art to inspire others to be brave enough to do the same.
